As the NVCA was exploring opportunities to enhance our communications channels, we were reminded by one of our Board members of the title of Marshall Goldsmith’s book on ongoing success, What Got You Here, Won’t Get You There. Within the last decade, the NVCA has expanded our public policy efforts and engaged in more industry issues than ever before. And while the information we have to share with our stakeholders has increased exponentially, our communications channels have remained largely unchanged. With the launch of NVCAccess, we are putting forth a site that will allow us to communicate faster and more effectively on all issues related to venture capital. NVCAccess is a site where readers can easily hear from us on breaking news, policy updates, industry trends, venture events, and overall NVCA commentary regarding the VC ecosystem. We plan to keep the site fresh with new posts each week authored by NVCA staff members. We are only just beginning our efforts to keep you more informed and plan to roll out additional resources, contributors and functionality over time. Stay tuned – and tune in often. The pace of our world has never been faster. We look forward to keeping you up to speed here at NVCAccess. Questions or comments? Email Emily at emendell (at) nvca (dot) org.
